Trello keeps each project tidy. It cannot tell you which one is losing money.
Trello is simple, visual, and easy to get a team to use. That is why so many projects start on a board. But once you run several projects with shared people and real budgets, the board stops answering the questions that matter. Vaizy is the view above your boards.

The short version
Cross-project view
Each board stands on its own. Workspace views on higher plans list cards across boards, without budgets or costs.
Select multiple projects and see combined cash flow, shared team load, and risk in one view.
Budget health
No budget or cost tracking. The money usually lives in a separate spreadsheet.
Cost and schedule performance (CPI and SPI) calculate automatically from your milestones and financials.
Getting started
Quick to start, but everything is a card in a list, so dates, owners, and costs depend on how each board was set up.
Import projects, milestones, team, risks, and budgets from a spreadsheet, with column matching before anything is published.
AI on your data
Atlassian AI helps write and summarize cards. It has no project finances to work with.
On the Pro plan, ask questions about your own projects and get answers grounded in your live workspace. Names are masked before anything reaches the AI model.
Data residency
Atlassian is incorporated in the US and headquartered in Sydney. Data residency options depend on your plan.
Incorporated and hosted in the European Union, under GDPR and Dutch law.
Where a board stops being enough
Trello works best for one team on one project. The trouble starts when you manage several at once and someone asks what the portfolio is costing, or who has time next month.
With Trello
The board shows cards moving, but not that the project has used 80 percent of its budget with half the work still open.
With Vaizy
Budget health is calculated from your milestones and spending, so you see the gap while you can still close it.
With Trello
The same person has cards on four boards, and nobody sees their full week until something slips.
With Vaizy
Team load is stacked across projects, so overbooking shows before it causes a delay.
With Trello
Risks live in a card, a comment, or someone's head.
With Vaizy
One risk register for every project, with owners, impact, and status.
With Trello
Sharing a board with a client shows them everything on it.
With Vaizy
Member accounts get a scoped view of their own work, without access to financials or other people's data.

How pricing compares
A free plan, then per-user pricing on Standard, Premium, and Enterprise. Views across boards, like timeline, table, and dashboard, sit on Premium and up.
Vaizy uses transparent, self-serve, per-seat pricing for Manager accounts, published on the pricing page with Essential and Pro tiers billed monthly or annually, plus an Enterprise tier available on request. Team members who need a scoped view get a Member seat. Essential includes 5 and Pro includes 10 during the beta, and extra seats are billed per seat. Nothing requires a sales call to see the price.
Common questions
Is Vaizy a replacement for Trello?
For steering a portfolio of projects, yes. Vaizy also has a Kanban view for deliverables, so day to day work can move on a board there too. If you use Trello for things outside project delivery, you can keep it for that.
Can I bring my Trello boards into Vaizy?
Yes. Put your board data in a spreadsheet and import milestones, deliverables, team, risks, and budgets into Vaizy, with column matching and validation before anything is published. You can also link a deliverable to its Trello card, and Vaizy shows it with a Trello badge.
Why not add Power-Ups to Trello instead?
Power-Ups can add fields, time tracking, or charts to a board. They do not combine budgets, people, and risk across all your projects into one view, and each one is another thing to set up and maintain.
Why does EU hosting matter?
Vaizy is incorporated and hosted in the European Union, under Dutch law and GDPR. For teams handling client financial data under GDPR, that is often a requirement, not a preference.
